Our Beliefs

Clearwater Christian Church is a God exalting, Jesus loving, Bible believing, and Holy Spirit dependent body of believers who are seeking to be “Christians Only”.  We strive to uphold the New Testament pattern for the church, and to be free of the divisions of denominationalism.  We are part of a fellowship known as the Restoration Movement and that term describes our quest. We realize that by our very existence we denominate ourselves, but we still hold to our ideal.  That ideal places Jesus Christ as the only head of the Church, the Bible as the sole authority for seeking to restore in the church today the simple faith and practice of the early church.   In our efforts to restore the early church in its ideal form, we have no intention of calling ourselves the only Christians.  We recognize that there are multitudes of Christian believers who share our convictions, and many are from backgrounds and fellowships very different than ours.
