Pastor Wayne moved to the North Thompson Valley as a teen in 1988, first settling in Vavenby with his parents. Shortly there after he met his high school sweetheart Tracy. Wayne and Tracy met while at a youth event in Vavenby, Wayne attended the Vavenby Christian Church Youth Group, while Tracy attended the Clearwater Christian Church Youth Group. Wayne and Tracy married in 1991 and moved away for a short period of time until they could no longer resist the beautiful North Thompson Valley. Over the past 33 years of marriage they have raised 4 wonderful children and have 5 beautiful grandchildren.
Pastor Wayne began His Ministry as youth pastor for Clearwater Community Baptist Church in 2007. In 2013 Wayne moved to Clearwater Christian Church after long time Pastor, friend and mentor Lloyd Strickland retired.
Pastor Wayne enjoys all kinds of outdoor activities, Hunting and Fishing are his favourites.
